Professional webinar for ČEZ on the introduction of elements of the circular economy into the company’s procurement process
Project scope
employee education
For ČEZ employees, we arranged a webinar to introduce the principles of the circular economy. We focused specifically on how to implement circular principles in the company’s procurement process and lower purchasing costs. We explored with participants the obstacles and advantages of these principles. Following the webinar, we sent all the participants a tailor-made questionnaire with the aim of reinforcing the key points and ideas among the employees and increasing thereby the likelihood of implementation.
Every change starts with individuals, and large companies are no exception. The key partners for a change towards circularity are not only company directors and managers but all company employees. That is why we introduced to employees of the company’s sustainable development department not just the general principles of a circular economy, but specific actions, points of interest and the advantages that a circular system can bring to the company’s operations.
„As part of the sustainable development strategy of the ČEZ group we aim to incorporate more elements of the circular economy into our procurement processes. That is why we and other colleagues from the company’s procurement and legal teams attended an introductory webinar on the implementation of a circular economy in public procurement. The webinar met our expectations, we familiarised ourselves with the fundamentals of the circular economy, the legal aspects, how to reflect circular principles in tender documents, and practical examples. Of particular value also was the experience of INCIEN’s CEO, Soňa Jonášová, who has been working on this topic for a long time and guided us through the whole webinar”.
