Short and fast, this is the essence of our Quick Check. You receive a brief overview of the degree of circularity of your firm. Based on our proprietary methodology, created together with the Institute of Circular Economy and a series of other experts, we ask you precisely and directly about your strategy, overall operations, supply chain, materials, products and employees. The output is a set of specific recommendations regarding future priorities, key aspects to address and the path forward to ensuring sustainability of your business, all in line with current and planned legislative requirements at the EU and national level.
We are your guide to change in the transition from a linear to a circular business model. Together we discuss your key objectives, current situation and any constraints. After a first meeting listening carefully to your needs, we advise you on key changes to consider and next steps towards fulfilling your circular vision. On a consultation hours basis, we help you define the steps that can lead to change and support you with implementation.
The first step toward sustainability begins with a change in your thinking and new processes in your company. A major part of that change is your company workplaces. We can help you with waste management, water and energy, as well as minimising food and packaging waste in your canteen operations. From our experience we know that sustainable alternatives also save money for our clients.
We can assist you with your planned construction projects in implementing circular principles from the very outset. We prepare materials for architects, define the principles of working with materials and map energy flows. We then regularly review the design and construction of your project with your selected architects, designers and building contractors.
Having a properly developed strategy is key to success. This is as true for companies that have sustainability in their DNA as it is for those only just beginning their journey. Together with our partner FairVentures, we can prepare your sustainability strategy. We focus on your operations, products and supply chain, as well as external and internal communications.
We undertake an in-depth analysis of all your company operations. This is a longer process as we evaluate your operations in more detail. As a result we can assess in terms of circular economy principles your building operations, waste management, energy, water management, canteen operations, production materials and operating supplies. After submission of the circular scan, we are glad to assist with implementation of specific circular principles in your business through individual follow-up consultations.
The sustainability of your company and products is also influenced by your partners and suppliers, from the origin and production process used for your raw materials and the carbon footprint of your energy supply to the products used by your cleaning service. A sustainability and circular economy approach calls for an assessment of the whole supply chain. What does the first meeting look like?
CIRAA has a comprehensive service offering, and individual products are tailored to the needs of every client. The introductory meeting is mainly focused on getting to know each other. We will ask you what would you like to change in your company, which barriers are slowing you down in the process, how you work as a company and, lastly, what expectations you have from our cooperation.
At the same time, we introduce our services, recommend the best option for starting our cooperation and answer any questions you may have about our further cooperation.
The introductory meeting is held face-to-face by individual agreement, or online if required by coronavirus restrictions.
We would like to start with the sustainability principles in the firm. What should we change first?
Every firm is different and has different requirements and possibilities. From our experience with several firms, we recommend firstly to undertake an input analysis that reveals the potential in each area. You will get a better idea of what you can do better on your own or where you need help to get the results you expect.
